This is a genuine starting range derived from our delivered projects — not a lead-capture number. The figure moves most with integration count and data quality, both of which we assess in discovery.
What moves the number

Three things account for most of the variance

Nobody's project is average. These are the factors that reliably push an estimate up or down, and we assess all three during discovery.

Integration count — every external system (ERP, gateway, courier, plant historian) is a workstream with its own testing and reconciliation.
The state of your existing data — migration is almost always messier than anyone believes, and the cleanup is real effort.
Approval structure — a project with one decision-maker moves at roughly twice the speed of one with a committee.
Content readiness — the single most common cause of a slipped launch date is content that was never written.
Regulatory scope — BFSI, healthcare and anything with an audit obligation carries genuine additional control work.

How we price, plainly

Twenty years of doing this has taught us that hidden pricing costs both sides more than it protects either.

It is derived from the actual delivered cost of our own projects rather than from a formula someone invented, so the midpoint is a reasonable starting point for a project of that shape. What it cannot know is your integration count, the state of your existing data and how many stakeholders must approve — those three account for most of the variance, and we assess them in discovery. Treat the range as the conversation opener, not the quote.

Because the alternative wastes everybody's time. If your budget is ₹80,000 and a serious corporate estate starts at ₹2.4 lakh, both of us would rather know that before three meetings. Publishing ranges filters for fit and means the first call is about the problem rather than about whether we are in the right universe.

Discovery is always fixed price. After discovery we can usually offer a fixed price for the first release because the scope is genuinely known by then. Longer programmes run as a dedicated pod on a monthly rate with a quarterly roadmap, which is more honest than pretending an eighteen-month scope can be fixed. Every milestone has a demonstrable deliverable attached to its payment.

On fixed-price work we absorb overruns caused by our own estimation. We do not absorb scope added mid-project — that is quoted as a change with its own cost and timeline, in writing, before work starts. The two-week slice model keeps this visible: you see progress every fortnight, so a slip is apparent in week four rather than in month six.

Hosting and infrastructure, which for a marketing site is often under ₹2,000 a month and for a data platform can be substantial — we model it during architecture so there are no surprises. Domain renewal, roughly ₹900 a year. Any third-party licences, quoted separately and paid by you directly rather than marked up by us. And optionally an AMC, which the calculator includes.

Yes, and the "Phased" timeline option in the calculator reflects that. We sequence so each phase delivers standalone value rather than leaving you with half a system — the first release should be earning or saving before the second is commissioned. Several of our largest clients started with a ₹6 lakh first phase.

Occasionally, for products where we believe in the operator and the model, and always alongside a cash component rather than instead of one. It is not our default and we will be direct about whether a given idea interests us on those terms.

Included: discovery, architecture, design, build, testing, deployment, documentation, training and a hypercare period. Not included: third-party licences and subscriptions, cloud infrastructure consumption, paid stock photography, content you ask us to write outside the agreed scope, and travel beyond West Bengal. All of these are itemised in the proposal rather than discovered later.

Next step

Send us the scope you just built.

We will come back with a written proposal including assumptions, exclusions and a fixed price where the scope allows one — usually within two working days.
